Booking Flights

Deem makes it easy to book your trip. Since we’re talking about flights here, start at the page called Book on the top of the screen, then choose Flights.

And don’t worry, you’ll be able to add the other trip segments during the booking process.

To book a flight:

• Select Round Trip, One Way or Multi City from the section over the city pairs.
• Enter your departure (from) and destination (to) airports. You can enter the airport code or the name of the city, and a drop down menu will appear for you to select the correct airport. You can also select from your recent searches.
• Select your departure and return dates.
• Select the time you would like to leave or arrive for the outbound and return flights.
• Click on the Search button.
  

If you’ve got too many results, you can narrow things down by using the filters for qualifiers like number of stops, airlines, and airports. Click on All Filters in the upper right corner of the screen to access additional filters.

To make even more changes including class of service, dates of travel, and airport, click on the airport search box. The filters will expand to allow you to edit your search.

Flight Options

Check out different fares at a glance. You can see Basic Economy (if it’s enabled), Non-Refundable and Refundable/Unrestricted fares, along with flight duration time, flight details and CO2 data. And look for your company’s preferred vendors — they’ll be noted with a green badge.

Want to know what seats are still available on those flights? Selecting Preview Seats, just below the flight times and details, will open up a read-only seat map so you can make some decisions. 

Selecting Details lets you compare fares, view EcoCheck (CO2 data) and amenities, and much more. Looks simple, right? (It is.) You’ll find the orange Details link to the left of Preview Seats, or you can get here by clicking in the fare section.

You’ve done your research. Now it’s time to choose your flight. Click on Select to choose the fare for the flight you want to take to get there. Then repeat the process for your flight home. 

Review Your Trip

From here, you can either proceed to Payment and be done, or add a hotel stay and/or car rental to your trip. Just click on the buttons along the top of the screen to get started.

Checkout

This is your opportunity to validate personal and payment information, as well as add any other required information. Once you’re done, click the orange Continue button at the bottom of the first box. 

If your credit card information is on file, you will be presented with a Book Now button.

If your credit card is not on file, enter that now. This information will save to your traveler profile and will be applied to your booking.

If you are ready to purchase your trip, click Book Now.

Once everything is processed, you’ll be presented with our trusted green and white check mark and a notice that your trip is confirmed, along with the details of your trip.
